The Discovery Pass (unlimited bus travel for 7/15/30 days) was a great way to see the USA (+ Canada) without a car, especially for visitors from overseas.

Amtrak still offers the USA Pass (and it's great), but Greyhound offers more than 3x the destinations with more frequent service.
