As an Historically Black College or University (HBCU), Coppin State University participates in the HBCU Innovation Initiative. This initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among HBCUs by providing resources, training, mentorship, and funding opportunities for students interested in starting their own businesses or ventures.
